    119 **How do I compare a stock and/or a fund?**
120 When viewing a chart of your favorite stock or fund, just click the "Compare" tab to easily compare stocks, funds and indices. Just enter the symbols you would like to compare or pick from the list of algorithmic-based suggestions and then hit the "Add" button. The resulting chart will display a comparison of price percentage changes for the time period specified.
    121
    122
    123
    124
    125
126 **Can I see stocks and dividends on a chart?**
127 Yes, you'll find stocks and dividends on our charts with a green "S" icon representing a Split and a blue "D" icon representing a Dividend. Should you not want to view these corporate actions, go to the "Settings" tab and uncheck the Splits or Dividends checkbox.
    128
    129
    130
    131
    132
    133 **Personalized chart settings**
134 Now you can choose chart default settings to match your style. If you click on the "Settings" tab, you can decide whether or not you want to see News Flags, Dividends, Splits, or Volume on your chart. In addition, you can decide on the default zoom level of your chart and if you want your vertical scale maximized or fixed.
    135
    136 **Import Portfolios**
137 It's now easy to view your portfolios from other online finance sites. Simply go to your portfolio on another site, copy the area of the portfolio, including the column headers, and then paste it in the "Import" section of the [Google portfolio page](http://finance.google.com/finance/portfolio?action=view&pid=1).
    138
139 **Do you offer after hours stock quotes?**
140 Yes, you can now see quotes during non-market hours. Prior to the market open and after the market closes, you will see a delayed quote in the Market Summary box, above the chart. Pre-Market and After Hours Quotes are not available for all securities.
    141
142 **How does Google Finance identify Related Companies?**
143 The Related Companies feature shows you which companies have been associated with each other in the past, based on our web search results, news items and other sources. These results are algorithmically determined, not selected by a human reviewer. This feature can tell you that companies are somehow connected, but it can't tell you how they're connected; they could be adversaries, partners, or anything else. We encourage you to web search, and other resources to learn more about the relationships between companies listed in the Related Companies feature.
    144
145126**What are the minimum system requirements for using Google Finance charts? **
146127To use Google Finance charts, your system must meet the following requirements:

157138First, make sure you have Macromedia Flash Player 7.0 or higher installed on your machine. If you don't have the plug-in, you can download it [here](http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash). If you have Flash installed, but still don't see a chart, this probably means the security in question isn't trading with enough volume to generate a chart. This often happens with penny stocks or stocks trading on foreign exchanges. It's also worth noting that privately held companies will not have charts.
    158139
     140**How do I compare a stock and/or a fund?**
141When you're viewing the chart of a given stock or fund, just click the "Compare" tab and enter the symbols to which you'd like to compare it, or pick from a list of algorithmically-based suggestions and then click the "Add" button. The resulting chart will display a comparison of price percentage changes for the time period specified.
     142
143**Can I see stocks and dividends on a chart?**
144Yes, you'll find splits and dividends represented on our charts with a green "S" and blue "D" icons. If you don't want to view these corporate actions, go to the "Settings" tab and uncheck the Splits or Dividends checkbox.
     145
146**How do I personalize my chart settings**
147Now you can choose your chart default settings to match your preferred style. If you click on the "Settings" tab, you can decide whether or not you want to see News Flags, Dividends, Splits, or Volume on your chart. You can also decide on your charts' default zoom level and whether you want your vertical scale maximized or fixed.
     148
149**How much historical data does Google Finance have?**
150We now enable our users to view up to 40 years of historical data for U.S. stocks.
     151
152**Do you offer after hours stock quotes?**
153Yes, you can now see quotes during non-market hours. Prior to the market open and after the market closes, you'll see a delayed quote in the Market Summary box above the chart. Note, however, that pre-market and after hours quotes aren't available for all securities.
     154
155**How does Google Finance identify Related Companies?**
156The Related Companies feature shows you which companies have been associated with each other in the past, based on our web search results, news items and other sources.
     157
158**What are the Market Performance and Category pages?**
159On the Google Finance home page you can see at a glance how major sectors are currently performing in U.S. financial markets. Scrolling over the bar charts will show you more detailed information about percentage increases and decreases for a given sector. To learn more about a given sector, simply click on the name and you'll see how that particular sector is performing compared to the S&P 500. Our sector values are computed by summing all the market caps of the stocks in the sector.
     160
161Category pages show the most active companies by dollar volume, % price change, market cap change, volume and $ volume, and stock query popularity as gauged by our very own Google Trends.
     162
     163**What are Top Movers?**
164Now you can easily see which companies are the biggest movers by:
     165
166  * Price, which identifies the top gainers and losers in terms of % price change vs. the prior day's official closing price
167  * Market cap, which identifies the top gainers and losers in terms of change in absolute market capitalization vs. the prior day's official closing market cap
168  * Volume, which identifies the stocks with the highest trade volume
169  * $ Volume, which identifies the stocks with the highest dollar volume (value of shares) traded
170  * Popularity, which identifies the stocks with the highest gains in Google query traffic
     171
172Note: Price/Market Cap/Volume/$ Volume all exclude stocks with market caps less than $1 billion and stock prices lower than $1
     173
159174**How can I create a Google Finance portfolio? How many companies can I track?**
160175To create a Google Finance portfolio you simply need to have a [Google Account](https://www.google.com/accounts/NewAccount). Once you have a Google Account, click on the portfolio link at the top of the Google Finance page. Google Finance portfolios allow you to keep track of financial information, including how many shares you own and at what price, for up to 200 stocks or mutual funds. If you want to add a company or fund to your portfolio you can do so directly from the portfolio page, or you can click 'add to portfolio' at the top of the company or mutual fund search result.
    161176
177**How do I import my portoflio(s) from other finance sites to Google Finance?**
178This is now quite easy; simply go to your portfolio on another site, copy the area of the portfolio, including the column headers, and then paste it in the "Import" section of the [Google portfolio page](http://finance.google.com/finance/portfolio?action=view&pid=1).
     179
